The effects of the operation variables of planetary mill on the surface area of ground microcrystalline cellulose were investigated with regression anaiysis. It was found that the regression equation of second polynominals among the surface area of ground microcrystalline cellulose and milling operation variables, which were the weight of sample, the revolution number of mill and grinding time, was valid with coefficient of determinant of 0.98. As the weight of sample and grinding time increased, the surface area of ground microcrystalline cellulose increased. It was maximum at the revolution number of mill of 242rpm. |
