The hybrid catalysts of different copper based mixed metal oxide catalysts prepared by co-precipitation and γ-Al2O3 were investigated for steam reforming (SR) of dimethyl ether (DME). The DME SR is a combined reaction of DME hydrolysis and methanol SR, together with reverse water gas shift (RWGS) reaction. In this regard, since the physical properties of copper based catalysts such as copper surface area, acidity and reducibility seem to be influenced by not only another metal oxide mixed with copper oxide but also its concentration, binary mixed metal oxide catalysts with different copper concentration prepared by co-precipitation was tested for DME SR. |
