제목 A Strategy to Enhance Thermomechanical Properties of Self-healable Polymer Bearing Hindered Urea bond Using Block Copolymer
초록 Most intrinsic self-healing materials demand heat or other external stimuli to occur physical flow of the materials to close scratches on it. But heat or other stimuli necessarily bring deterioration of the physical properties of materials. In this study, Self-healable block copolymer containing P4VP to form hard domain was synthesized via reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization. As prepared block copolymer was blended with self-healable matrix polymer, and cross-linked with hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). In this self-healing system, successfully developed micellar structures of P4VP plays a role as a physical cross-linking points. As a result, mechanical properties and thermal stability of self-healable polymer material is greatly enhanced.
