제목 Self-Organization of An Amphiphilic Rod-Coil Block Copolymer at the Solid Substrate/Selective Solvent Interface
초록 Self-organization of amphiphilic rod-coil diblock copolymers consisting of poly (2-vinylpyridine)(P2VP)and poly (n-hexylisocyanate)(PHIC)at the interface between a solid substrate and a solvent was studied.Thin films of P2VP-PHIC copolymer were coated onto the mica-substrates by immersion in the solutions in different concentrations. The mica substrates were then moved into a bath of pure solvent and annealed for different periods of time. The solvent used for annealing were toluene(selective for PHIC block) and methanol(selective for P2VP block). The morphological change occurred to the polymer film during the immersion annealing was studied using the TM-AFM. The results clearly indicated that the P2VP-PHIC block copolymer self-organized into a multi-layered nanostructure on the surface with the rod-like PHIC block being planar to the rod-coil interface at toluene/substrate interface. While the copolymer formed anisotropic surface micelle at the MeOH/substrate interface.
