Fabricationof Matryoshka gold nanorods with controlled intra-nanogaps distance for highly-sensitive molecular detection |
초록 |
Gold nanoparticles with different sizes and shapes are widely used in molecular detection using surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS). SERS signal are enhanced by the nanogap. We synthesized matryoshka gold nanorods (MAuNRs) using galvanic replacement reaction of Ag by Au in the pre-synthesized Au@Ag core-shell nanorods. MAuNRs of desired nanogaps (~5 to 20 nm) can be obtained by controlling the thickness of the Ag layer in Au@Ag core-shell. The MAuNRs show enhanced SERS signals due to the coupling effect of localized suface plasmon resonance. The synthesized MAuNRs thus, has great potential for using as SERS substrates in various molecular detection applications. |
