Crosslinkable Nonlinear Optical Dendrimers and Polymers Facilitated with Diels-Alder Chemistry |
초록 |
Organic second-order nonlinear optical (NLO) materials have been extensively studied for their potential applications in high-speed and broadband information technologies. Especially, NLO dendrimer and polymer have been considered, because they offer many advantages such as high NLO activity, good processability, thermal stability. Here we have utilized Diels-Alder reaction for crosslinkable NLO denderimers and polymers to improve both thermal and mechanical properties. The second harmonic generation (SHG) coefficient of these polymers were derived from their poled samples by Maker Fringe analysis method. |
