제목 Synthesis of Promising Hierarchically Nanostructured Mixed Metal Chalcogenide Thin Films through Newly Devised Arrested Precipitation Technique: Photoelectrochemical Performance
초록 In the current status, we have synthesized different mixed metal chalcogenide (MMC) thin films such as MoBiCuSe4, MoBiInS5, Cu2Cd(SSe)2 for photoelectrochemical (PEC) cell application using self-organized, hybrid arrested precipitation technique (APT). Optical study reveals that synthesized quaternary materials have direct allowed transition and almost cover UV-Visible region of solar spectrum. Scanning electron microscopy studies  clearly demonstrates that, bath composition and annealing play important role in designing of favorable morphology for PEC application. PEC performance was checked in I-/I3- redox electrolyte and obtained conversion efficiency (η %) was 0.07, 0.49 and 0.77 for MoBiCuSe4, MoBiInS5 and Cu2Cd(SSe)2 photoelectrode respectively.
