제목 Furan based Polyurethane coating material and its film properties  
초록 Polyurethanes are versatile commodity plastics with a wide range of properties and have more broadly range of industrial applications such as automotive, fine chemicals and footwear, electronics etc. Polyol can be divided by some types of polyols such as polyether-, polycarbonate- and polyester type polyol etc. Also molecular weight of employed polyol can affect the polyurethane's properties like chemical resistance and weather-ability, surface hardness and adhesion as well.  
  In our study, firstly we synthesized polyester type polyol using FDCA and alkyl based diol. Also we reacted furan based polyol with acrylic based polyol via isocyanate in the presence of tin catalyst. We measured molecular weight of the polyols and  polyurethane through high temperature GPC. From experimental result, molecular weight of furan based polyol was 3,000g/mole and final molecular weight of polymerized polyurethane was 100,000g/mol. Furthermore we try to make a film for automotive interior using this furan based polyurethane and investigate the film properties such as cross-cut, scratch test, abrasion.
