Reversible phase transition of Poly(oxyethylene-b-butylene adipate) ionomers (POBA-is) induced by draw ratio |
초록 |
Shape memory polymers (SMPs) have widely been researched as smart materials which are capable of fixed a temporary shape and recovered to its original shape during stress-induced at near transition temperature. The fabrication of SMP synthesizes one or more oligomers to form a block copolymer. A series of segmented poly (oxyethylene-b-butylene adipate) ionomers (POBA-is) were prepared by two step polymerization of adipic acid, 1,4-butanediol and sodium sulfonateside chain-grafted poly-(ethylene oxide) (SPEO) with soft segment and ionic group. The chemical composition of these POBA-is were ascertained by 1H-NMRspectroscopy. We investigated the stress-induced phase transition in the process of the shape deformation and recovery using the wide angle X-ray analysis (WAXD). |
