Comparison of Pre-treatments on the Activity of Spent Cu-based Catalysts for the Complete Oxidation of Volatile Organic Compounds |
| 초록 |
The catalytic activity of spent Cu-based and its pre-treated catalysts for the complete oxidation of VOCs has been examined. The results showed that the spent Cu-based catalyst can be a good candidate for the complete removal of VOCs. Pre-treatment methods employed gave a significant effect on catalytic performance. Especially, hydrogen pre-treated catalysts largely with metallic state were found to be the most active for complete oxidation of VOCs. It was also found that the catalytic performance was highly depending on the combination of the catalyst property and the physicochemical property of the VOCs. |
