Standardization is one of the most important factors to industrialize a new technology. The Korean proposal to form a new technical committee for “Printed Electronics” was approved by IEC member countries on Sep. 19, 2011. The new TC will be organized as TC119 “Printed Electronics” under International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) with 8 participating countries such as Korea, Germany, US, Finland, Canada, Japan, China, and UK. In this talk it will be demonstrated how international standardization supports industrialization of the field of printed electronics. |
