A new series of Diketopyrrolopyrrole for polymer solar cells synthesized by stille coupling reaction consisting of difluoro-quinoxline (5,8-dibromo-2,3-didodecyl-6,7-difluoroquinoxaline) and dithiophene-difluoro-quinoxline(5,8-bis(5-bromothiophen-2-yl)-2,3-didodecyl-6,7-difluoroquinoxaline). The thermal stability of the polymers was analyzed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) figure showed that the 5% weight-loss temperature (Td) of these polymers was over 350℃ under nitrogen atmosphere. The optical properties of polymers were showed λmax at 742~801 nm in CB solution. In thin film state, λmax at 753~807 nm. Compared to the solution state, the film state was red shifted by about 6~19 nm. A highest molecular orbital (HOMO) energy level appeared its value in the range of -5.28 ~ -5.46 eV. The polymer DPP-DFQx power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 3.49% with a Voc of 0.65 V, a Jsc of 9.61 mA/cm2, and a FF of 0.56%. |
