제목 | Monovalent Ion Enhanced CO2 Electro-reduction to HCOO- via Porous Bi Catalyst |
초록 | Electrochemical conversion of CO2 into value-added chemical products is one of promising strategies for sustainable development. Here we synthesized multiple-layered porous bismuth electrodes using H2 assisted electro-plating process within 5 seconds to convert CO2 into HCOO-. To investigate role of the monovalent ion ( Li+, K+, Cs+, Cl-, Br-, I-) on CO2 electro-reduction, various electrolytes were used while CO2 electro-reduction. And it turns out that Cs+ (or K+), Cl- ions synergistically increase efficiency of CO2 conversion at both low potential region and high potential region. While Li+, Br-, I- ions lower the whole CO2 conversion process.
