Synthesis and Characterization of Single Chain Polyfluorene Copolymer for White Polymer Light Emitting Diodes |

We report the synthesis of the white-light-emitting fluorene-based copolymer with 2,5-bis(4-bromophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole as electron transporting group and (PhQ-CVz)2Irdbm as red emission unit on the main chain. In order to achieve balanced blue, green, red emission and high quantum yield, feed ratio of monomers has been tuned within 0.2-0.005 mol % of oxadiazle and 0.4-0.01 mol % of iridium complex, respectively. The copolymer was synthesized via palladium-catalyzed Suzuki-polycondensation. The resulting copolymers were found to be thermally stable and soluble in common organic solvent. |
