Synthesis and Characterization of Metal-Conducting Polymer Based Nanocomposites |

The dispersion of the metal nanoparticles in polymer matrices is an important factor while making nanocomposites. In this study Silver (Ag) nanoparticles and polyaniline emeraldine base (PANIEB) nanocomposites were synthesized via ex-situ method, and the carboxylate group protected Ag nanoparticles were simply and efficiently blended ultrasonically in the solution of PANIEB doped with methacrylic acid. The results show different characterizations of Ag-PANIEB nanocomposites as a function of different concentration of Ag nanoparticles by weight. |
