제목 Preparation of g-C3N4/TaON photoelectrode and its enhanced photoelectrochemical performance and mechanism
초록 With the development of society, environmental pollutants and energy policy have been considered as two urgent issues. Photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic using semiconductors technique has been developed as one of potential strategies to solve the above problems, including solar energy conversion, water splitting, air purification and waste water treatment. The development of a stable semiconducting material that functions efficiently under visible light is essential to practically solar energy. Photocatalysts or photoelectrode could harvest the solar energy to excite the electron and hole pairs to undergo the redox reaction converting water into the hydrogen and oxygen chemical fuel. Recently, many researchers have been done on studying the conversion efficiency enhancement by band gap engineering and cocatalysts modification of photocatalysts and photoelectrode. In this work, we introduce the g-C3N4 and TaON composite to improve the conversion efficiency of the photoelectrode. The synthesized samples were characterized by XRD, XPS, SEM, UV-vis-DRS and BET. Futhermore, the relative photoelectrochemical properties of g-C3N4/TaON photoelectrodes were also investigated.
