제목 Temperature control in solvent vapor annealing of block copolymers for better-organized nano-structure
초록 In a solvent vapor annealing process of block copolymers, block copolymer thin films are exposed to solvent vapor at a temperature typically below the bulk Tg of polymers. Swelling of polymers with solvent provides with mobility for polymer chains to reorganize to a well-organized nanostructure. The developed morphology at the swollen state should changes when it is dried back to the bulk state. Therefore, SVA is a far more complicated process than thermal annealing and despite its widespread use. In previous study, we found that higher temperature assists the development of the ordered microstructure in SVA at lower swelling ratio. This phenomenon is a positive aspect in SVA because the volume change during the drying process is reduced and it would reduce the perturbation of the microstructure in the final bulk morphology. We examined several kinds of block copolymers with different morphology to evaluate the high temperature SVA in achieving better-organized nano-structures.
