제목 Influence of Various Top Electrodes Metal Reflection Property on Power Conversion Efficiency for Polymer Photovoltaic Cells
초록 In this study, we fabricated the organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells with a poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (P3HT):[6,6]-phenyl-C61 butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) blended layer and various metal electrodes (Al, Ag, Au, Fe, and Ti in this study), the power conversion efficiency (PCE) is strongly influenced by the reflectivity of the metal electrode. This phenomenon is related with the light absorption of the P3HT:PCBM blended layer. In this work, we report that the light absorption variation of the P3HT:PCBM blended layer is directly affected by the reflectivity of the metal electrode. We also investigated how the reflection of the metal electrode materials influences the PCE of the OPV cells. We obtained PCE values of 6.63, 5.87, 1.3, 0.93, and 0.02% of PV cells fabricated with an Al, Ag, Au, Fe, and Ti electrode, respectively.
