제목 Fabrication of TiO2 Nanofibers Embedding TiO2 Nanowires
초록 Titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanofibers containing single crystalline TiO2 nanowires were successfully fabricated by electropinning poly(vinylpyrrolidone) solutions mixed with hydrothermally synthesized titanium dioxide nanowires and titanium isopropoxide Ti(OiPr)4 precursor. During the calcinating process, TiO2 NWs acted like seeds of TiO2 crystals, in which TiO2 precursors were epitaxially crystallized on the TiO2 crystalline NW surfaces. Morphological investigation was conducted by utilizing scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Structure and orientation of the epitaxially grown TiO2 crystalline nanofibers were also identified by the combined techniques of X-ray diffraction and selected area electron diffraction. Additionally, optoelectronic properties of TiO2 nanofibers were studied with UV-Vis spectroscopy.
