Poly(L-lactic acid), PLLA, films containing two antioxidants, α-tocopherol and resveratrol, with various composition were fabricated using internal mixer and compression molding process. The processing effect on the remaining both antioxidants in final PLLA films were determined using the ultra performance liquid chromatography. The influence of two antioxidants on optical and physical properties was assessed. The diffusion of α-tocopherol and resveratrol from PLLA films to food simulant, ethanol, was determined, and the levels of diffusion are appropriated for potential active packaging application for food packaging industry. |
