제목 Pre-charged Titania and Tungsten Trioxide Composite Catalyst Membrane Filters for As(III) Oxidation without Irradiation
초록 This study demonstrates that inorganic membrane filters with pre-photocharged titania and tungsten trioxide composite particle embedded reactive oxygen species oxidize As(III) to As(V) in the dark. The charged membrane filters can release electrons to dissolved O2, generating ROSs(HO2∙/O2∙-) to oxidize As(III). This HO2∙/O2∙- pair generates in the dark, according to electron paramagnetic spectroscopy(EPR). As(III) oxidation affect the weight ratio of WO3 and charging time of the TW filter and pH in As(III) solution. To treat As(III)-contaminated water without sunlight, the suggested oxidation method utilizing charged TW membrane filters is feasible and ecologically friendly.
