Dimethyl 5-sulfoisophthalate sodium salt(DMSIP), diethylene glycol(DEG), maleic anhydride(MAn) were synthesized by a two-step melt condensation for application of ion exchange membrane. Ion exchange membrane was prepared using synthesized ionomer, pentaerythritol tetraacrylate(PETA) and UHMWPE matrix with UV crosslingking. The chemical structures and thermal property of the membranes were characterized by their FT-IR, 1H-NMR spectra, andTGA, respectively. The composition of membrane was analyzed by SEM-EDS, and their crsss-sectional surface morphology of membrane was analyzed by SEM. The basic membrane propertiessuch asIEC, waver uptakewere measured. |
