제목 Effect of Photosensitivity of Ag Electrode Pastes on Line Width Uniformity for Large-sized Plasma Display Panels
초록 The photosensitivity of the Ag electrode pastes in the photolithographic patterning of PDP barrier ribs was investigated as a function of types and contents of photoinitiators, molecular weights and acid values of acrylic binders with carboxylic acid groups, and process variables such as UV light intensity and dose by using the step tablet. This study showed that photoinitiator was a major parameter on the photosensitivity of the Ag electrode pastes. With the optimized content of 15 wt% of HSP-188 photoinitiator based on reactive monomers, Ag electrode pattern with line width uniformity suitable for large sized PDP could be obtained in the wide processing window of 250 to 350 mJ/cm2 UV dose and 15 to 25 mW/cm2 UV light intensity.
