제목 2D Surface Energy Gradient of Hydrophobically End-capped poly (ethyleneoxide) Urethane Resin (HEUR) on Si wafer
초록 The 2D hydrophilicity gradient was prepared by octylchlorodimethylsilane (ODS) on Si wafer, where the stage was moved in x-y direction programmed by a Labview. Self-assembly monolayers (SAMs) on Si wafer were built up by dipping method, and 2D gradient device stage went through under UV-lamp with velocity difference. ABA type copolymer, hydrophobically end-capped poly(ethyleneoxide) urethane resin (HEUR), which has hydrophobic both ends and hydrophilic main chain, was spread on the 2D gradient surface. The mushroom to jar structural transition of HEUR by hydrophobic to hydrophilic surface was observed and characterized by contact-angle, ellipsometry, XPS and automatic optical microscopy.
