Over the past decades, atmospheric environment polluted by chemical impurities. Among the air pollutants, nitrogen oxides (NOX) are extremely hazard source, which causes acid rain, smog and global warming. To remove the NOX, selective catalytic reduction technology has been used to reduce NOx emissions because this technology can reduce up to 60-90%, not emits secondary pollutants. Nowadays, it is necessary to enhance the catalytic performance at low temperature, also functional groups of catalyst play a key role on the catalytic activity. In this study, we modified the functional groups of V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalyst by treating nitrate species. Their morphology and textural properties were confirmed by SEM and BET analysis, and their chemical states and catalytic performance were verified by XPS, NH3-TPD, H2-TPR and fixed bed reactor. The results may be applied to the various fields that require the high performance of catalytic properties at low temperature. |
