제목 Release properties of silver ion from silver nanoparticle doped on PMMA
초록 Silver ion the versatile antimicrobial species was released in a steady and prolonged manner from silver nanoparticle doped on PMMA. Silver nanoparticle doped on PMMA has to release the silver ion in hydrogel solution to have antibacterial effects. Release rate of silver ion was determined by the interaction effects of silver nanoparticle and solvent. Porous PMMA is used in supporting material to doping silver because it is harmless and biocomportable. Porous PMMA was produced by water-in-oil-in-water (W/O/W) emulsion polymerization. Silver doped polymer and form analysis confirmed by SEM, and XRD. The silver ion release was observed as increasing with time and concentration of the silver powder using ASV method.
