Toluene capture by using modified Post-Cyclone (PoC) |

The combination between commercial activated carbon (WSC-470) and modified post-cyclone by adding flow guider in vortex finder was investigated for capturing toluene odor at difference flow rates and adsorbent sizes. The experiment results showed that toluene capture efficiencies increased with decreases of flow rates and adsorbent sizes. The adsorbent recovery efficiencies were increased with the larger size and the lower flow rate. Adsorbent size of 45-53 μm and flow rate of 200 l/min were acceptable for both odor capture efficiency (71.6%) and adsorbent recovery efficiency (81.5%). |
