Preparation and characterization of novel chitosan-based quaternized matrix as anion exchange membranes for zinc-air battery application |
초록 |
In this work, to prepare delivery vehicles of membranes using chitosan(CTS) as a natural bio-polymer and investigate them as an anion exchange membranes delivery system. CTS was conjugated with membranes, and it was then modified with quaternized functional group and quaternized chitosan derivatives of poly[O-(2-imidazoylethylene)]-N-picolylchitosan were prepared by 4-pyridinecarboxaldehyde combining with 2% acetic acid solution chitosan. 2-vinylimidazoyl to N-methylpicolylchitosan at C6-OH then added to make an attempt of copolymerization reaction to N-picolyl-[O-(2-vinylimidazol)]quaternized chitosan. The fabricated anion exchange membranes is expected to be used in the zinc-air batteries and other energy storage systems. |
