제목 Electrochemical properties of the cathode upon different content of carbon in zinc-air battery
초록  Lithium secondary batteries have shown significantly higher energy and power densities than other secondary batteries. But charge places are limited. Unlike other batteries, zinc-air batteries have received much attention due to its low cost, high stability, non-explosion and environmental benignity. Currently, however, zinc-air batteries have not shown any advantages because their poor cycleability, high solubility of zinc compounds, and low rate of oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) of air electrode. Thus one of key point for increasing ORR and OER in air electrode is important to enhance the performance of zinc-air batteries. A suitable amount of carbon with catalysts in air electrode must be added in order to improve the performance. We investigate a suitable carbon content in air electrode to enhance electrical conductivity and assist the activity of catalyst for zinc-air batteries.
