Electrochemical and physical characterization of LaMO3 (M=Co, Mn, Fe and Ni) for Zn-air batteries |
초록 |
Four transition metals, namely Cobalt, Iron, Manganese and Nickel, were individually combined with lanthanum metal to prepare a LaMO3 (M= Co, Fe, Mn, and Ni) perovskite using Pechini method or combined Pechini-combustion method. The calcination temperature used is 900oC and 700oC for 5h. The synthesized perovskites were characterized to determine its suitability and efficiency as a catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in zinc-air battery cell. The prepared perovskites for zinc-air battery were also evaluated for morphological property, crystal structure, electric conductivity, surface area, particle size distribution and the current density of the perovskite electrode at 1V. |
