Characteristics of DCB and NOx removal over V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalyst with Ag addition |

The effect of both Ag addition and following acidic treatment was investigated on the reactivity of conventional V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalyst for o-dichlobenzene (DCB) and NOx removal in this paper. The removal efficiency of NOx decreased with insertion of Ag. On the contrary, that of DCB increased. However, following acidic treatment of Ag-added V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalyst was found to promote DCB and NOx reduction. This catalyst showed the improved DCB removal activity without dramatic decrement of NOx removal activity compared with V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalyst. The analysis of EXAFS and XPS was performed to elucidate the relation between activities and characteristics of catalyst. |
