제목 | Studies on Structure and Property of Crosslinked Polyurethanes Having Shape Memory Effects |
초록 | Shape memory polymer is one of the advanced functional materials which responds to thermal stimulation. Most important two factors in molecular design of shape memory polymers are sharp glass transition and control of this temperature. In this experiment, the fixed phase was the chemical crosslinkings. Shape memory PUs were prepared from polyester polyol, 4,4'-diphenylmethane diisocyanate, 1,3-butane diol and diethanolamine as curing agent. These shape memory PUs have been characterized in term of thermal, mechanical, dynamic mechanical and shape memory properties. Shape fixability and shape recovery at various temperature were determined to observe the effects of loading temperature and recovery temperature on shape memory behavior. It was found that the shape memory PUs prepared in our experiments recovered their original shape and rendered shape-memory behavior under the complex deformation by introducing the chemically crosslinked structure. |
