제목 Synthesis of Amphiphilic Polymer Nanoparticles as Nano-Absorbents for Low-molecular Weight Hydrophobic Pollutants
초록 Micelle-like amphiphilic polymer (CAP) nanoparticles were synthesized through soap-free emulsion polymerization and suspension polymerization of urethane acrylate nonionomer (UAN). To investigate effect of chain length of hydrophilic and hydrophobic segment of CAP nanoparticles on interfacial activity and solubilization performance of CAP nanoparticles, five types of UAN chains having various chain lengths were synthesized and used for preparation of CAP nanoparticles. All kinds of CAP nanoparticles showed interfacial activity and solubilize hydrophobic pollutants (phenanthrene and toluene) like surfactant micelles. This result indicates that CAP nanoparticles could be used as nano-absorbent for hydrophobic pollutants dissolved at water.
