제목 Differential human mesenchymal stem cell activity in low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid based hydrogels
초록 For optimization of tissue regeneration, hyaluronic acid based hydrogels were prepared with different molecular weight hyaluronic acid (10 KDa, 50 KDa, 130 KDa and 170 KDa). Hydrogel was prepared by Michael type addition reaction with acrylated HA and PEG-SH4. Proliferation and viability of human mesenchymal stem cells cultured in the HA hydrogel showed different depending on the molecular weight of HA. As RGD peptide was introduced by Michael type addition reaction and BMP-2 was incorporated in the hydrogel, cellular viability increased in RGD introduced and RGD+BMP-2 incorporated hydrogel respectively. Gene expressions of hMSCs cultured in various hydrogels were compared. Biological assay of hMSCs in HA based hydrogels shows the basics for effective tissue specific regeneration.
