제목 Photodegradation of methylene blue by Carbon-fluorine doped TiO2 photocatalyst using solar light
초록 Most of these investigations had been made to convert the TiO2 absorption from the ultraviolet to the visible region by doping TiO2 with transition metals and nonmetals such as N, C, S, P and F. The present study was aimed to prepare C-doped titania by an in situ chemical process using sucrose as carbon source and sulphuric acid as dehydrating agent. CF-TiO2 photocatalysts were prepared from fluorination of C-doped TiO2 for fluorine doping. The resulting prepared photocatalysts materials were characterized by SEM, EDS, XPS, UV-DRS and XRD. The resultant photocatalysts were characterized and tested for degradation of MB dye using solar light.
