제목 Prevention of post-surgical tissue adhesions by a CMC/hyaluronate/chondroitin  sulfate sponge sheet
초록 Hyaluronate-base bio materials are extensively utilized as a tissue adhesion barrier because it is biocompatible and biodegradable. However, it has low efficacy due to fast absorption of the hyaluronate dissolved by dilution from the body fluid before prevention of adhesion. In this study, we prepared carboxylmethylcellulose(CMC)/hyaluronate/chondroitin gel sheet created by freeze drying which can improve the stability of the CMC/ hyaluronate/chondroitin gel sheet in the body. Gel of CMC, hyaluronate, chondroitin sulfate and a mixture of the three were prepared sheet and viscosity, contact angle, FT-IR, and SEM were measured.The anti-tissue adhesion potential of the gel sheet was also evaluated by in vivo animal study using a rat model. From the animal study, it was observed that the CMC/hyaluronate/chondroitin gel sheet was highly effective for the prevention of peritoneal tissue adhesion and thus can be a good candidate material as sponge type tissue adhesion barrier.
