Preparation of glycosaminoglycan hydrogels system by radiation technique and their release behaviors and permeation properties |
초록 |
Glycosaminoglycans, including hyaluronic acid (HA) and chondroitin sulfate (CS), are aminosugar-containing polysaccharides in the extracellular matrix of all vertebrates. To design the artificial skin model composed of biocompatible natural polymer and synthetic polymer for alternative tests to animal experiments, we synthesized hyaluronic acid and chodroitin sulfate derivatives with polymerizable residues with precise control over the substitution degree. The hyaluronic acid/chodroitin sulfate-based hydrogels were prepared by using a radiation technique. The enzymatic degradation kinetics, the drug release behaviors and drug permeation properties of the hydrogels were investigated to evaluate the feasibility for artificial skin substitutes. |
