제목 High efficiency chrysene deep-blue emitters through optimized side group in non-doped OLED devices
초록 In order to realize high efficiency of chrysene as a deep-blue emitter, methyl group substituted diphenylamine was used as a side group. Three side derivatives have been successfully synthesized by introducing these side groups: o-DPAC, m-DPAC, and p-DPAC. The maximum PL emission wavelength in solution and film state, all of the three materials showed red shift in order of ortho, meta and para position. The highly twisted structure, o-DPAC material, showed the narrowest FWHM (47 nm) in the deep-blue region with a PLmax of 449 nm in the film state. The three synthesized materials showed excellent thermal stability with a high Td of over 400 °C. EML was applied to non-doped OLED device considering the band gap of synthesized materials. Among the synthesized materials, m-DPAC achieved excellent EL performance of CIE x, y (0.14, 0.09), 4.89 cd/A, 3.60 lm/W and EQE of 6.18%.
