Fabrication and characterization of SiO2/TiO2 composite powder via industrial by-product of CO2 gas |
초록 |
Global warming is really a big issue these days, some ways are suggested to reduce the amount of CO2 that is released. Use of strong acid caused some problems in the existing reaction processes for the preparation of Nanoporous silica. For this reason, strong acid was not used in our synthesis process but the functional nano silicate was prepared by using industrial by-product that is CO2 gas. Synthesis of silica-titania composite powder using water-glass precursor via APD is one way to reduce its production cost. The composite was characterized by XRD, FT-IR, SEM, TEM, and TGA. |
