제목 A study on thermal conductivity and mechanical properties of carbon filled polymer composites.
초록 Polymer/carbon fillers composites were prepared using an internal mixer. Thermal conductivity of these composites was evaluated by laser flash method. Surface and core morphology were determined using a scanning electron microscope and an optical microscope. Heat transfer in polymer composites was visualized using a thermography camera. Mechanical properties of polymer composites were also measured to correlate with thermal conductivity. Thermal conductivity increases and Izod impact strength decreases as the content of fillers increases according to expected trends.
