제목 Calcium Carbonate Deposited Assembled Nanoparticlesas Robust Nanocarriers for Intracellular Drug Delivery.
초록 The controlled deposition of inorganic components on assembled organic nanotemplates has broadened the choice of new functional nanocarriers for bioactive agents. In this study, we describe the calcium carbonate (CaCO3) mineralization of core-shell polymer micelles to produce robust hybrid nanocarriers that can release anticancer drugs in a specific cellular condition. Core-shell polymer micelles of poly(ethylene glycol)-b-(poly(L-aspartic acid)-co-poly(L-phenylalanine)) were employed as a nanotemplate for CaCO3 mineralization. Anionic PAsp served as a template domain for CaCO3 mineralization. CaCO3 can enhance the structural stability of micelles by holding the assembled structure. In addition, CaCO3 domains can protect drug release efficiently at extracelluar environments but dissolve in endosomal compartments (pH = 4~5) to facilitate intracellular drug release. This mineralized nanoparticle can potentially be used as a novel specific intracellular drug carrier.
