제목 Preparation of Nylon-4/6 random copolymer nanofibers and their water adsorption capacity
초록 A series of Nylon-4/6 copolymers were synthesized. This series consists of samples with Nylon-4 units dispersed covalently in Nylon-6 chains with different molar ratios. These synthetic samples were characterized by small and wide angle x-ray scattering techniques for crystal structure analysis and lamellar morphology. Thermal analysis was carried out to investigate the Tg and melting temperatures by diffrential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The copolymer solutions in formic acid were made with different concentrations, and electrospinning was successfully performed with formic acid solutions. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) was conducted for the nanofibers morphology which showed the diameter less than 90nm for all the samples. The resulting nanofibrous mats were tested for water adsorption capacity.
