As the depletion of fossil fuel and increasing of green house gas (GHG) emission, the paradigm of chemical industry shift from petroleum resource to renewable resource due to reducing the emission of carbon dioxide (CO2). We have been interested in renewable resources derived isosorbide and its derivatives. Isosorbide is a heterocyclic compound that can be dehydrogenated from sobitol under sulfuric acid. In this research, we synthesized methacrylate functionalized isosobide material and we try to observe the curing kinetics via light source such as UV and laser diode for cross-linking density affect the their film property like pencil hardness, transparency etc. Further we expect that this result influence upon the manufacturing of the 3d-printing materials widely used in various industries and examine the feasibility test for its application. |
