Influence of Zn content on structural, morphological and electrical properties of Cu2ZnSnSe4 based thin film solar cells |

In this study, Cu2ZnSnSe4 (CZTSe) based thin film solar cells were synthesized by selenization of sputtered Cu/Sn/Zn metallic precursors on Mo coated soda lime glass substrate in Ar atmosphere. Cu/Sn/Zn metallic precursors were deposited by DC magnetron sputtering process with increasing Zn content at room temperature. As-deposited metallic precursors and Se pellets were placed in a graphite box and then selenized using rapid thermal annealing system without using a toxic H2Se gas. Effects of Zn content on structural, morphological and electrical properties have been studied. Morpholgiy of absorber layer were investigated by field emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM). Structural, electrical properties and cell efficiency were investigated by Raman Scattering and X-ray diffraction (XRD), I-V measurement system and solar simulator. Further details about influence of Zn content on CZTSe based thin film solar cells will be discussed. |
