Terahertz study of cracked palladium films on a PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) substrate |
초록 |
We have conducted a terahertz study of palladium thin films of 10 nm thickness grown on dimethylsiloxane (PDMS) elastomeric substrates by dc magnetron sputtering. The terahertz method allows for the measurement of the frequency-dependent conductivities without a Kramers-Kronig analysis. Palladium nanogaps were induced by applying the stress on the sample along one direction in the plane. We demonstrated that the terahertz conductivity is substantially modified by palladium nanogaps. |
