제목 Hydrothermal assisted decoration of Indium Hydroxide onto one dimensional CdS for efficent visible photocatalytic activity
초록 Highly efficient photogenerated charge separation and surface catalytic reaction are highly anticipated for preparing the high-performance semiconductor based photocatalytic systems. Nevertheless, concurrently satisfying the two requirements is still a great challenge for one-component photocatalyst. Loading nanosized cocatalyst onto main photocatalyst surface has been proved to be a strategy for inhibiting the recombination of photogenerated charge carriers and decreasing the overpotential of surface catalytic reaction. Herein, we have proposed CdS-In(OH)3 heterostrucutred photocatalytic system for water splitting reaction and the results indicate that the decorated In(OH)3 has a potential to improve the charge separation and then the photocatalytic activty.
