제목 | Release profile of nifedipine(ND) from multi-coated bead by different dissolution media and speed |
초록 | Oral delivery is by far the most widely used route for medication. Various methodes have been proposed for the preparation of controlled release dosage forms for oral delivery.1 pellet dosage forms and their formulation design have shown many advantages and flexibility in enhancing therapeutic safety and potency.2 In this study, we observed the release pattern of ND beads fabricated by fluidized-bead spray coating method according to the composition of dissolution media and dissolution speed. In solubility test, ND showed high solubility in dissolution media containing surfactant such as tween80,SLS. Furthermore, release pattern of ND beads was faster SLS solution than tween80 solution. But, there was no effect of dissolution speed in release behavior of ND beads. In conclusion, we could confirm the improved release pattern of ND beads in dissolution media containing surfactant.
