Preparation and heating properties of non-woven carbon fiber and carbon nanotube heating elements |
초록 |
In order to develop the low-cost materials for snow-damage-preventing, non-woven carbon fiber and carbon nanotube heating elements were prepared by a wet-laid method. The specific heat of the non-woven carbon fiber and carbon nanotube were determined using hot-disk method by ISO22007-2. The morphologies of non-woven carbon fiber and carbon nanotube heating elements were measured by FE-SEM. A heating-pad clamping device connected to a variable AC/DC power supply was used for the electric heating characteristics of the non-woven carbon fiber and carbon nanotube. An infrared camera applied voltages to samples while maintaining a certain distance from non-woven carbon fiber surfaces. From experimental results, surface temperature of carbon fibers increased with increasing the added carbon nanotube. |
