제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Sulfur Containing Self-Healable Polymer Nanocomposites and Their Applications
초록 The ability to repair damage spontaneously is termed as self-healing. Self-healing polymers (SHP) are a class of smart materials that mimic the autonomous healing behavior in biological systems by detecting damage and commencing self-repair mechanisms without the need for external damage detection or manual intervention. This feature is highly desirable for rechargeable batteries as the lifetime of high-capacity electrodes, such as anodes is shortened by mechanical fractures generated during the cycling process. In this paper, we used polyurethane consisting of bis (4-aminophenyl) disulfide as dynamic crosslinker as the binder for reduced graphene oxide-tin oxide (RGO-SnO2) composite electrodes. Structural and morphological characterizations of SHP were done using FT-IR, TGA, XRD, SEM and TEM. Finally electrochemical studies were carried by fabricated 2032 type coin cells using RGO-SnO2 as electrode and SHP as binder.
