제목 Fabrication and characterization of hydrogel coils from Metal-Polymer nanocomposite as an embolic material
초록 The goal of this study is to preparation of new functional polymer coils to treat malformed blood vessel potentially causing neurovascular disease as an embolic material. Poly(vinylalcohol)-tantalum nanocomposite had been prepared by using glutaraldehyde (GA) as a cross-linker and they were characterized in terms of their cross-linker contents and swelling ratio. The morphology of the composite had been studied using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and X-ray visibility was measured according to contents of tantalum. These results demonstrated that swelling behavior of coils was controlled by their cross-linking density and tantalum contents.
